Exploring two of Kenya’s finest private conservancies, with a core focus on conservation and the local communities, this short but spectacular itinerary is designed to showcase the majestic wildlife of Kenya in a way that protects and enhances the critical wildlife diversity of the nation. With many game drives included, complemented by Maasai cultural visits, horse riding and camel trekking experiences, this six-day itinerary is packed with discovery whilst staying in some of the finest accommodation options in the Loisaba and Mara North conservancies. 

Day-by-Day

Day 1 - 3: Elewana Loisaba Tented Camp

Begin your Kenyan adventure with a three-night stay in the Elewana Loisaba Tented Camp, located in an unparalleled position within the Loisaba conservancy. The camp has a breath-taking vantage point which offers unhindered sweeping vistas across the Laikipias plateau and unobscured views all the way to Mt Kenya. Guests of the camp will enjoy a myriad of diverse activities which will help you discover the wildlife filled landscapes on many different levels. To complement the game drives offered, fill your time at the camp with activities including horse riding, camel trekking, bush walks, mountain biking and cultural visits to local villages.

Day 4 - 6: Elewana Elephant Pepper Camp

Your next three nights are spent in the heart of the Mara North Conservancy, which sits just outside the Masai Mara Game Reserve, accommodated in deluxe spacious tents in the Elewana Elephant Pepper Camp. The conservancy is expansive and highly protected and, as it is shared with only five other camps, has an exclusive ambience in which to explore the diverse wildlife. Game drives and guided bush walks are led by highly skilled guides and if you time the season right, one of the natural world’s greatest spectacles can be observed, the great Wildebeest migration.
