About Azamara Cruises

Azamara Cruises are a premium, boutique cruise line who offer worldwide cruises with a real focus on destination immersion and a relaxed luxury concept. There are three great ships in the fleet and each one has a maximum capacity of around 700 – 800 passengers. Being smaller in size, it means they can often access ports that the bigger ships simply can't reach and Azamara use this to full advantage. At every port, you will find a great programme of excursions with local experts and longer stays often mean departure times allow you to enjoy the evening in port, as well as the daytime. On some voyages, Azamara also feature an Az-Amazing evening, where they take the whole ship to a fantastic local event. Azamara cruises is the perfect cruise line for those that love to travel and really get to see a destination while doing so.

Back on-board each ship offers a relaxed, luxury home-from-home. Décor is classically styled with contemporary touches, often described as a kind of 'country club chic'. You’ll also find a host of features included in the fare - selected spirits, international beers and wines, soft drinks, speciality coffees and teas, gratuities, self-service laundry and even a complimentary shuttle buses to and from the local town if the port is not within walking distance.

Dining

Dining is always a special occasion on Azamara Cruises. Discoveries is the main restaurant offering an extensive daily changing menu, along with staple classics that remain available throughout the voyage. It’s always open seating meaning you can dine with whomever you please. You’ll also find two speciality restaurants - Prime C is a classic steak and seafood restaurant with classic wood-panelled décor and stunning views. Aqualina celebrates Italy’s most traditional and authentic recipes. For something more casual you will find Windows Café with a great al-fresco dining area and The Patio is the pool grill serving casual affair throughout the day.

Entertainment

Entertainment on-board tends to be lower key than other cruise lines. Don’t forget with the ships often staying at ports into the evening, you may choose to soak up the atmosphere of the destination you are visiting! However, you will also find a range of bars and lounges to enjoy, including Discoveries Lounge and The Living Room. The cabaret lounge will often have live performances of professional musical revues, classical soloists, bands and other entertainment with a full bar and cosy tables.
