When Do You Want To Go?
Discover the very best of Tanzania on this 10-day safari holiday which reveals the everchanging landscapes of the country, from its verdant green farmlands to its wildlife abundant national parks. Beginning in Arusha, spend the night on a working coffee plantation before continuing to the Tarangire National Park, home to one of the highest densities of elephants in Africa. Marvel at the natural wonders of the Ngorongoro Crater before concluding your Tanzanian adventure in its most iconic destination, the famed Serengeti National Park.
Day 1: Elewana Arusha Coffee Lodge, Arusha
Just a 10-minute drive from Arusha airport, your first night in Tanzania is spent on a charming and comfortable coffee plantation, where spacious rooms are scattered across the beautiful verdant estate. Tours of the plantation are highly recommended, although you may wish to just enjoy the array of facilities of the property before you head onto Tarangire National Park the following morning.
Day 2 & 3: Elewana Tarangire Treetops, Tarangire National Park
Travel the short distance to the Randilen private conservancy, located away from the crowds in a secluded camp on the edge of the Tarangire National Park. Treehouse rooms provide a charming stay amongst the baobab trees and its close proximity to the forest canopy allows for a closer interaction with the natural world. Morning and evening game drives are complemented by bush walks and led by knowledgeable and experienced Maasai guides.
Day 4 - 6: The Manor at Ngorongoro, Ngorongoro Crater
Secluded amid the Shangri-La Estate, on a 1,500-acre working coffee plantation close to the Ngorongoro Crater, your next three nights are spent at the Elewana The Manor at Ngorongoro. A full day is rightly afforded to explore the natural crater that is absolutely brimming with biodiversity, whilst the rest of your time here is free to indulge in the tranquil environment of the highlands. Immersive experiences available include horse-riding, plantation tours and cultural visits to local communities.
Day 7 - 9: Serengeti Migration Camp, Serengeti National Park
Conclude your Tanzanian adventure in a remote camp in the northern Serengeti, surrounded by rugged and rocky outcrops overlooking the peaceful Grumeti River. The Elewana Serengeti Migration Camp is a classic tented camp, constructed with natural materials and elevated on wooden decks, ideal to observe the wildlife that roams freely below. The Serengeti is home to one of the richest plain-based ecosystems in the world, and days at the camp will be packed with wildlife viewing activities.
