Introduction
Combine two of southern Africa’s most famed destinations on a 7-day journey, with time split between the majestic Victoria Falls and the wildlife abundant Chobe National Park. Beginning at Victoria Falls, and staying close to the natural wonder, marvel at the forces of nature and voyage along the idyllic Zambezi River with a sunset cocktail cruise. Then, head to Botswana for an incredible four-night stay within the Chobe National Park, where expertly led game drives and boat cruises will showcase the impressive variety of wildlife species that inhabit the park.
Day-by-Day
Day 1 - 3: Pioneers Lodge - Victoria Falls
One of Africa’s most beautiful destinations, spend three nights at the iconic Victoria Falls. The echo of the falls will be heard long before you make your way through the lush rainforests and see the natural wonder for the first time. A guided tour of the falls is included on your second day, led by an expert who will take you to the best vantage points and impress with a wealth of knowledge about the fauna and flora. The same day, enjoy an evening a sundowner cocktail on a memorable sunset cruise of the Zambezi River followed by a day at leisure to explore Victoria Falls town or to simply enjoy the facilities of your hotel.
Day 4 - 7: Chobe Lodge - Chobe National Park, Botswana
Continue to Botswana to experience the incredible natural environment and varying ecosystems of the Chobe National Park, spending three nights at the fully inclusive Chobe Game Lodge. Across your days at the park, a myriad of immersive wildlife experiences awaits, including but not limited to game drives, boat safaris and evening bush walks. Although mostly synonymous with elephants, a plethora of wildlife inhabit Chobe with healthy populations of hippos, lions, giraffes and over 450 species of birds.
Day 8: Return to the UK
Depart the lodge on your transfer back to the airport for the return flight to the UK.
